DrDisrespect has been known to CoD fans for a long time and in one of his last streams he made it quite clear that he could possibly become a partner in a CDL team. What's behind these spoilers?
The Doc is not only known in the Call of Duty community for his entertaining Warzone streams. No, he designed maps for Advanced Warfare in 2014 and made an appearance during the 2019 World League Championship. An Instagram post from 100 Thieves CEO and former CoD pro Matthew “ Nadeshot ” Haag kicked off rumors that the Doc could also become part of the CDL.
In the picture you can see him with DrDisrespect and Hector “ H3CZ “ Rodriguez. The latter is the founder of the Call of Duty League team OpTic Gaming, which he recently bought back. H3CZ is also the owner of the place in the Call of Duty League and rumors have long been growing around Nadeshot that he would like to get a place in the CDL for 100 Thieves.
In one of the last DrDisrespect streams, a viewer asked him in the chat whether he was planning to have his own professional team.
The doc replied with a broad grin:
“Will I have my own team? Probably not. Will i be a partner? Who knows…"

Mal ganz ehrlich, das ist ja schon fast eine Bestätigung. Wir wissen zwar noch nicht in welches Team er investieren wird, greift man obigen Instagram Post aber nochmal auf, könnte es durchaus etwas mit OpTic Gaming zu tun haben. H3CZ ist Eigentümer von OpTic und somit auch von dem Platz in der CDL und Nadeshot ist ein ehemaliger CoD-Profi, der bei OpTic gespielt hat. Da H3CZ auch Co-CEO von NRG und damit den Chicago Huntsmen ist, muss er laut Regeln der Call of Duty League entweder den Platz von OpTic Gaming verkaufen oder den der Chicago Huntsmen aufgeben. Es wäre also durchaus möglich, dass DrDisrespect und Nadeshot den CDL Platz von OpTic Gaming übernehmen.
