League of Legends Patch 10.7 arrived on April 1 and while Riot Games is looking on the funny side of things with Urgot getting a much-needed star guardian themed skin, we're looking onward.

Here are the 5 best top-lane champions to be playing in League of Legends Patch 10.7:
Wukong
Let's not monkey around here, Wukong's latest changes are no joke and even after receiving multiple changes since patch 10.6, this monkey is the king of the top lane and should be a top priority pick for you. Wukong's EarlyGame is still incredibly strong and we strongly recommend going on the aggression, building armor penetration and ripping your top lane tank to shreds.
Top tip: Should you get an early advantage, roam around the Summoner's Rift (when you can) and support the mid lane, rushing Black Cleaver and Mercury's Treads as soon as you can for more monkey madness.
Renekton
This crocodile bites, and for a good reason. Professional players have been picking this croc for the top lane due to his incredible diving playstyle and high damage output. Renekton is considered a very easy champion to play in League of Legends at the moment, with the majority of your build going towards tank and damage stats.
In the EarlyGame, we highly suggest taking Doran's Blade and a health potion to ensure you get decent trades with your enemy. From here build into Ninja Tabi followed by The Black Cleaver. As you are all tank and little damage at the moment go straight with a Guardian's Angel just for some extra protection in the top lane. Additional items will depend on how well the game is or isn't going for you. Trade carefully, ward up and we're sure you'll be dominating in no time.

Maokai
This Tree is tremendous in the top lane with built-in sustain, amazing team-fight abilities and brilliant crowd control in ideal moments. All skills are viable build paths for Maokai, so you must build your items based around what the enemy team has more of.
We expect nature to take over for 10.7 and Maokai to keep his roots firmly planted in the top lane as he's seen major successes in the LEC Spring Split series. Maokai will be a much-contested pick for Patch 10.7, so pick him first or ban him right away in your ranked games.
Jax
Smashing skulls since Patch 10.6, Jax is another top-lane dominator who's seen multiple picks in League of Legends professional play for his ridiculous stats, high damage, skin like steel. Jax excels in early aggression and makes up for it in the mid to late game so consider aggression with Jax to ensure success. Though played in the Jungle, we're sure that Patch 10.7 will bring Jax back to the top lane to counter popular picks like Renekton with his stun and empowered auto-attacks to keep that pesky crocodile at bay.
Doran's Blade and potion pot is essential here with rushing Trinity Force as soon as possible for maximum damage and speed. The vision here is very important with Jax, so don't go wandering too far into enemy territory and we're sure you'll have a smashing time.
Fiddlesticks
Now hear us out when we say the words: "Top lane" and "Fiddlesticks" because we think this bundle of death will make a significant impact in the Jungle as well as the top lane. Now words of caution (as he is our wildcard): Fiddlesticks is a rather squishy champion and, like sticks, will blow over with the slightest gust of wind going. However, he seems like such a fun champion to play if the circumstances are correct.

Do not expect to be building damage here, magic and magic penetration are your key items to stack to ensure you own the top lane. Fiddlesticks is here because he is new and with a complete kit overhaul, it's enough for him to be banned right away.
That just about does it for our list. Head on over to our EarlyGame Facebook and let us know who you'll be playing in the top lane for Patch 10.7.
