The BTS Pro Series Season 3 already started in the Americas but fans in Europe and SEA won’t have to wait much longer as it all starts on September 12.
Dota 2’s pro circuit might be getting delayed to 2021 along with The International 10 but hey at least there’s no lack of online events. The Beyond The Summit Pro Series is currently in its third season and continues to bring quality content and some high tier Dota 2. The event already kicked off in the Americas on Monday and two more regions will join the fray this Saturday.

The tournament in Europe will feature a total of 9 teams and a prize pool of $50,000. The event will kick off on September 12 and last up until September 30. Here’s the full list of teams:
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- Vikin.gg
- B8
- Team Unique
- Khan
- 5men
- Team Empire
- HellRaisers
- mudgolems
That’s four teams from Europe and five from the CIS. There’s no clear favorite to take the title but Vikin.gg or NiP might have the best chance. Then again, we have mudgolems, a wildcard team created by some former NiP members including Adrian "Fata" Trinks and Neta "33" Shapira.
In terms of format, it’ll all start with a single Bo2 round-robin group stage. The top four will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the next four will go to the lower and the team at the bottom gets eliminated. The playoffs will be a classic double elimination bracket with all series Bo3 and the finals Bo5.
BTS Pro Series Season 3 SEA
And last but CERTAINLY not least...#BTSProSeries is coming back to SEA as well for Season 3! Matches begin on September 12th... don't miss any of the hype! https://t.co/VZnt4kO1Z3 pic.twitter.com/TEONTIn0wy

Much like in Europe/CIS the event in SEA will have a prize pool of $50,000. It’ll feature a total of 10 teams and last from September 12 to September 27. The full list of teams gives us some interesting entries into the scene:
- Fnatic
- BOOM Esports
- TNC Predator
- Execration
- 496 Gaming
- 032
- Neon Esports
- Motivate.Trust Gaming
- NEW Esports
- Among Us
We see some of the big names in the region like Fnatic, BOOM, and TNC but also a brand-new star team in Among Us. Fnatic did some recent roster changes and TNC won the ESL One Thailand: Asia so it’s tough to predict who’ll make it to the end.The format will be the same as in Europe. A round-robin group stage followed by double-elimination playoffs. The only difference is that here two teams will go home by the end of the groups instead of one.
You can catch a live stream of both events on the official BTS Twitch channel. The first series in SEA kicks off on September 12 at 6:00 CEST, while Europe will begin later the same day at 14:00 CEST.
