The folks at charlieintel and codtracker have been digging for any possible Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War information and have proved that whoever is searching is eventually going to find something. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in-game store casually mentions that via a pre-order, you can get early access to the Open Beta of the game on October 8, at least on the PS4. By the look of things, the Sony console will be prioritized ahead of other platforms in that regard at least.

We were expecting the Open Beta launch date and other info on September 8, when the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is scheduled to happen, but thanks to the electric eye of some, we know now one more fact for certain before Activision's official announcement.
