The campaign and the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have already been revealed through a series of scavenger hunts, trailers, and an alpha for players to test. The third major part of the game - its Zombie mode, is now also on its way to being officially announced.
The announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's single-player campaign and its multiplayer took place in the form of an extensive scavenger hunt on the website PawnTakesPawn. The plan was for the Zombie mode reveal to unfold in the same manner, but plans don't always work out the way you envisioned them.
Several YouTubers and streamers have struggled through the numerous puzzles in the last few days, uncovering one clue after another without getting much in return. Many players have already complained that Activision, despite good intentions and spectacular effort, is dragging out the announcements too much. Courted by the complaints, Activision and Treyarch folded and announced a proper trailer release date. The date is, well, today. Why drag it out any further, right?

Tonight, September 30, at 19:00 CEST, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombie mode will get its own trailer on Call of Duty's official YouTube channel. Take out the snacks and the drinks because that's one occasion we didn't expect to have. Good on Treyarch and ActiBlizz for recognizing when something's not working.
Tune in at the set time and check out the trailer. That's definitely not happening again.
