The latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update comes with a new Gunfight map called Bazaar. A few other new additions are also coming with update 1.15, like a 3v3 Snipers mode on Rust and a “boots on the ground” mode.
Update 1.15: New map, new modes for CoD: Modern Warfare
This update comes with a long list of patch notes, but a few stand out immediately. First of all, there’s the new Gunfight map – Bazaar. At first glance, I must say this map seems like a hit. It’s got everything a Call of Duty map should be – it’s compact, but not to the point of claustrophobia, it has numerous routes to choose from when approaching enemies, and there are elevated surfaces for added variety. Yes, Infinity Ward, that’s the juice, thank you.
A couple of the other mode-related patch notes are instant positives for Modern Warfare. Boots on the Ground War, which comes with the cheeky remark “Realism rules. No tanks.” in the patch notes, is a long-awaited feature that sort of brings us back to the good old pre-Infinite Warfare days of Call of Duty.
There’s also a 3v3 Sniper feature available now on Rust. Now, this I must see. I can imagine a 4-hour hide-and-seek with two shots fired total, and I would love it.
Patch notes also include general fixes, weapon alterations, challenges, special operations… you get it, it’s a lot. In fact, we’d be hard-pressed to even go over the top of it without hitting a short novel word count, so if you have some time to spare, you can see the full list of PATCH NOTES changes .
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update 1.15 is available for download on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One immediately, with memory sizes of 10 GB, 7 GB, and 11 GB, respectively.
