Already tomorrow, September 9, we will get a new operator for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. The Italian singer and actor Fabio Rovazzi will impersonate Morte, the Italo-Western operator.

With the two popular operators Ronin and Lerch, we already have two operators in Call of Duty based on real personalities. However, with Tu Lam and Tony Sentmanat, they were modeled on former soldiers and members of special forces, who are now active in the private sector, providing weapons training and consulting for government and civilian institutions. With Fabio Rovazzi this is changing - he is an Italian singer, actor, author, and director. Accordingly, the new operator Morte is not a muscle-bound machine, but rather slim and elegant - like an Italian James Bond.

According to the background story, Morte's full name is Sergio Sulla and he is a former soldier of the Italian special forces "1° Regiment Col. Moschin", with which he served in Libya and Iraq. When he got out of there, he went to the Warcom faction known to us, where he will be at our disposal as Morte from tomorrow, September 9. Since he loved western movies as a child and had the desire to become a lawman, the character with his cowboy hat and poncho looks like fresh out of an Italo western of the 60s and 70s.
