Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 has been running for a good week now and along with the first playlist update has brought us many innovations. In addition to everything else, you can now acquire Call of Duty Twitch Drops until August 19.

You'd like to have some cool in-game items to upgrade your weapon or level up faster, but don't want to spend valuable Call of Duty credits on bundles? Now you can easily get free rewards on Twitch. All you have to do is watch a few hours of Call of Duty streams.

Call of Duty Twitch Drops

Until August 19, up to four rewards can be dusted depending on the time you spend watching Twitch streams.

  • For an hour, you get the Smoke Up sticker that can be put on every weapon.
  • For two hours, you will unlock a 1h Double Weapon XP token, which you can activate at any time to receive double Weapon XP for one hour.
  • For three hours, you will receive the Big Bang animated calling card, which you can use to upgrade your profile.
  • Finally, if you stick around for 4 hours, you will receive the Blast Check weapon charm. A nice little rocket that you can hang on your weapons.

How do you get the Twitch Drops?

Simply going to Twitch and looking for a random Call of Duty streamer unfortunately does not work. Don't worry, we will explain all of the steps:

  • If you have a Call of Duty account, skip to step 2. If you don't, you have to create one. The account is of course free of charge and offers you some other cool features like access to your personal statistics. You can create your CoD account here. You also need a Twitch account of course, but we assume that's already the case.
  • The next step is to connect your accounts. Even if you have already done so in the past, it can't hurt to link them again - just to be sure.
  • Now you just have to find a Call of Duty streamer that has Twitch Drops enabled. Just have a look in the Modern Warfare or Warzone category of Twitch and look for a streamer whose stream description says "Drops are enabled".
  • Watch time is adding up. What this means is that you don't have to watch for four hours in a row, but can spread your time across. You can even watch several streams at the same time. Not too demanding.

That's it. Get your free stuff and dive back into the game cause Shipment and Shoot House are back.
