The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone sniper rifle Rytec AMR impresses with immense damage and a high rate of fire. If you are looking for a good setup, you are in the right place. Let’s get to it!
What is so great about the Rytec AMR?
The Rytec AMR is the latest weapon added to Modern Warfare and Warzone during Season 4. A .50 caliber semi-automatic rifle is hard to comprehend. Imagine the AX50 with the Dragunov's rate of fire. Yeah. As if that wasn't enough, you can take explosive ammo with you. That's right, the sniper shoots, quite literally, mini-missiles.
This already sounds like a lot of fun, doesn’t it? Let’s enhance the sheer gamer joy of shooting up stuff with a fitting setup:
- Muzzle: Rytec AMR silencer
- Run: FTAC Seven Straight
- Laser: Tactical Laser
- Visor: Variable zoom telescope
- Ammunition: Magazine with 5 rounds of 25x59mm explosive bullets
How does this work?
The Rytec AMR silencer is the counterpart of the monolith silencer and offers in addition to the noise reduction more range. The FTAC Seven Straight barrel increases range, control and bullet velocity. With the tactical laser, you improve your aiming speed and increase target stability.
You have the choice of using either a scout scope, which is non-reflective and quick to aim, or the variable zoom telescope. With the variable zoom telescope, you can switch between 5.5x and 12.6x magnification which can be especially useful on larger maps and of course – in Warzone.
About the last attachment. This is where the real fun begins. The explosive bullets deal much more damage and have a small explosion radius, so you don't even have to hit the target directly to cause damage. However, in return, you have to cope with a lower rate of fire and bullet speed, and only five rounds per magazine.
In multiplayer, you have a true one-shot monster with this setup and especially on small maps you can, thanks to the explosive projectiles, also take out an injured enemy behind cover. In Warzone, it works great against infantry targets and vehicles. Four hits and any jeep will turn into rubble.
