The Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta will include a number of maps, each offering a unique new WW2-themed multiplayer setting. Vanguard Beta Map details have since been revealed, exposing Hotel Royal as a night-time map. Let's take a look at all the maps in the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta, and what to expect from Hotel Royal.
Guys, it's Royal, not Royale. That 'e' makes a difference, and this ain't a Battle Royale map, so shut the hell up about that, okay? Let's be real: Vanguard looks a whole lot better than Black Ops Cold War at this point. Seriously, the game's going to release with a ton of maps, and even the beta is going to feature five of these bad-boys! Oh, and they are new maps, not the rehashed maps we have grown accustomed to in BOCW. Speaking of new maps, here are all the map details revealed for the CoD Vanguard Beta...
There will be several maps in the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta, and a lot to dive into. Once you're done with these CoD Vanguard Beta Map Details, check out some more Vanguard info...

Tom Henderson, a prolific Call of Duty leaker, has revealed a whole bunch of details about the maps coming in the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta. For starters, he knows the vague setting of each map. As you can see in the below tweet, he revealed that the Hotel Royal will have a nighttime setting, Gavutu will feature an ocean-beach-like setting, and that Red Star will be a (presumably Russian) snow map.

New Vanguard Map "Hotel Royal" Details Revealed
The new Hotel Royal Map seems to be set on the rooftop of a Hotel. The map will be set in Paris, as according to Tom Henderson, and you can see the Eiffel Tower in the background. As Henderson states in his tweet, "It looks like you're playing as Paris is being bombed, with the city around you in ruins/on fire".
This is an especially cool and interesting setting for a map, as we have rarely played in WW2-era Paris. We can imagine that the Vanguard Hotel Royal map will be quite beautiful, especially with the air raid lights shining into the sky, and a beautiful hotel-setting in the heart of Paris. We love the idea, and can imagine shattered chandeliers, the fairy lights described by Henderson casting an eerie flare across the war-ravaged map, and some classic French charm.
One thing we've been thinking about is what we've heard about Hotel Royal seems to yield the perfect setting for some of that long-awaited destruction we've all been waiting to see. Vanguard is going to feature series-first levels of destructible terrain, and whilst it won't be to the same scale as Battlefield, it will add more flair and strategy to a map like Vanguard's Hotel Royal. This weekend truly can't come soon enough!
Please keep in mind that this is a developing story, and as we find out more about each of the Call of Duty: Vanguard Maps, we will update this article with that information.
