Well, we could remind you of how strong the M16 and the AUG once were, but more importantly, you shouldn't neglect the Itra Burst because it has fantastic potential as a long-range weapon for those 40-80 m engagements. Look, it's not a do-it-all AR, or the next best Sniper Support, but with a good SMG in the secondary slot, the Itra Burst can be a great weapon for Caldera.

The Best Itra Burst Attachment Setup

The Itra has good natural range and damage, but to bring it up to the same power level as full-auto ARs, we need to improve the firepower output. This is where the magazines are going to help us, and of course, fully loaded. With every other attachment, we're trying to gain as much recoil control as we can for accurate follow-up shots. But we've also added a Fabric Grip because we don't want to sacrifice handling completely.

The Best Secondary Weapon For The Itra Burst

There are many, many good SMGs out there right now, but we're certain that the vast majority of you will already have the MP-40 levelled, so let's make this easier and go with a strong weapon that you all have access to.

This MP-40 build is going to give us a little more range and a little less mobility than most builds. But we've done this because we need to push the MP-40 into more of a mid-range role when using it alongside the Itra, rather than making it a purely close-quarters SMG.

The Best Equipment For The Itra Burst

These equipment choices are simply the meta right now, especially if you find the Restock perk mid-game.

Semtex works against infantry and vehicles in every situation, so while it isn't the best at doing a specific thing, you won't find a better jack-of-all-trades grenade. And alongside this, we've taken the frankly broken Snapshot grenade, which will give your team an absurd advantage on the push. Basically, wall hacks.

The Best Perks For The Itra Burst

While we would normally take Cold-blooded and Combat Scout, we'll avoid that with the Itra. This weapon is really poor in close-range so unlike full-auto ARs, it's more important that we can swap to a secondary weapon in emergencies. This is why Amped is pretty much essential with the Itra Burst. As is Overkill for a loadout like this, and to fill up the first perk slot, we've gone for the ever helpful E.O.D. perk to reduce incoming explosive damage.
