Black Ops Cold War: Double Weapon XP Weekend & New Zombies Map

One day before the mid-season update, Treyarch announces a Double XP Weekend and already teases a new map for the zombie mode. We have summarized all the information for you.

Tomorrow, January 14, we can already look forward to the mid-season update of Black Ops Cold War. In addition, the zombie mode will be free for everyone to play for a whole week, also starting on January 14. The perfect opportunity for those who don't own Black Ops Cold War yet but want to take a peek before plunking down their hard-saved cash.

Double Weapon XP Weekend

To kick off free zombie week and the Mid-Season update properly, Treyarch announced a Double Weapon XP Weekend.

From January 15 to January 19, there will be double weapon XP in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. You can finally finish leveling your favorite weapons or try out a few weapons you've been neglecting. Since leveling in BOCW takes a long time compared to Modern Warfare, we will take the opportunity to level as many weapons as possible.

New Zombie Map

Besides the Double XP Weekend announcement, Treyarch also revealed new content for zombie mode. So far, there is only one map in BOCW's zombie mode - but that could change soon:

So far nothing more is known about the new map, but there is speculation about a setting in Vietnam. Since Day 115 is coming soon, we hope to get more information about new zombies content this week. Until then, we'll have to settle for the photo posted by Treyarch.
