The new tactical rifle, the CARV.2, had been announced in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 roadmap. It could already be found as loot in Warzone, but now, it is finally released in its complete form. We explain how you can get the CARV.2!Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 launched with two new weapons, the PPSh-41 and the Swiss K31. A new tactical rifle was also announced: the CARV.2. A lot. The CARV.2 is a tactical defense rifle that fires in 3-shot volleys, which is characterized by high damage, range, and bullet speed. Since the CARV.2 is already available as ground loot in Warzone, there have been numerous videos and clips that show how powerful the new rifle is. If the CARV.2 actually comes into play in this way, it will in all probability replace the M16, AUG, and FR 5.56 in Warzone and possibly even become the new meta.

What is the CARV.2 Release Date?

CARV.2 will be available with this week's playlist update on Thursday evening. The new playlist update goes live every Thursday and swaps the weekly playlists in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. In the past, these updates have been used several times for bug fixes or adding new content, so the announcement is credible.

How Do You Get The CARV.2?

As always, the CARV.2 can be unlocked through a challenge or a bundle. No details are currently known about the challenge, but the bundle will be called "Plastic Prototype".
