The internet is eagerly awaiting news about this year’s instalment in the Call of Duty franchise. Apparently the new CoD will be set in the 1950s in Korea and a well-known CoD leaker has now voiced his guess as to what the new part might be called: Guerrilla Warfare.

There are few things in the world that are as certain as the prospect of a new Call of Duty each and every year. So far, however, little is known about this years CoD. To be honest, the only thing that is certain is that Sledgehammer Games is developing it!

Everything that is known about CoD 2021 so far can be found here:

Well-known CoD leaker Tom Henderson, who is already responsible for most of the leaks and rumors surround Call of Duty 2021, has now made another guess.

CoD 2021 Could Be Called Guerrilla Warfare

The leaker makes the claim that perhaps our next adventure could be called Guerrilla Warfare. If Sledgehammer isn’t working on a sequel to Advanced Warfare, which is also on their account, and the new CoD doesn’t take place in a future setting, then he’s guessing Guerrilla Warfare as the setting – and possibly also the title. We especially like the way he announced it…

This would also fit perfectly with the very latest leaks, which report that the new part would be set in Korea in the 1950s. Since the Korean War started in 1950, a setting in the Korean War as a guerrilla fighter could be quite plausible.

However, nothing has been officially confirmed about the setting of Call of Duty 2021. Both the setting – in which we don’t play an American soldier, but a guerrilla fighter – and the title Call of Duty: Guerrilla Warfare, don’t sound completely far-fetched…
