CoD 2023 : First Insights for NBA Players
While fans of the CoD franchise are still waiting for an official announcement or any information at all about the game, some NBA stars have gotten a first look at the upcoming title. This was revealed by the Twitter account of "CharlieIntel". In the post, there were two screenshots showing Instagram stories of some NBA players.

The community reaction to this reveal were rather negative to say the least. Many commentators on Twitter weren't happy about the special treatment of the NBA stars. For example, the user "stones and snake" wrote, "why are these games always shown off early to athletes? come up with something new. these athletes aren’t even influential to gamers smh".
Or the user "Charles schroth" who hit the same notch:
I don't understand why they show the new cod to athlete's lol, like show it to gamers or streamers. I mean show it to people who actually care. These athlete's don't care about the next upcoming cod whatsoever lol they are worried about getting and staying in shape
It will be interesting to see, how, and if Activision is going to react to this negativity. At the moment, we're all just waiting for any news about the upcoming game. And it's safe to say, that this CoD iteration might be one of the most anticipated ones in years. Of course, we will keep you up-to-date.
