The Confrontation Weapons Pack just got its own trailer. The weapons pack represents the cultural divide between the East and West Cold War forces and the trailer is just... badass!
The PlayStation YouTube Channel released a trailer specifically for the newest weapons pack that you get when pre-ordering Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. The trailer is super slick and showcases the design and handling of both rifles.
The Western Front, obviously representing the West, is a tactical rifle, whereas the Iron Curtain, which represents the U.S.S.R, is an assault rifle.
Both are blueprints that will be available in the newest addition to the CoD universe.
While the trailer does focus on small details, such as the scope on the Western Front, its main purpose seems to be a simple introduction to the weapons and to hype up the crowd right before the game is released and...
... boy, oh boy is the trailer hype!
Comments under the trailer are mostly positive, with fans being excited about the release of both the Confrontation Weapons Pack, as well as the upcoming Black Ops itself.
A smart move by PlayStation, hyping us all up like that. We've been on the edges of our seats for the last couple of months anyway and now that we're so close to November 13... we can practically feel the copy of the game in our hands. That trailer, though? The ultimate cherry-tease on top.
If you are somehow not aware, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War releases on November 13 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S and the PlayStation 5. If you are one of the many that has not been lucky enough to secure a next-gen preorder, don't worry: If you buy CoD Black Ops Cold War for the PS4 or the current gen Xbox, you can upgrade the game to its next-gen version for free.
So... which weapon from the Confrontation Weapons Pack are you going to get first? The Iron Curtain or the Western Front?
