Call of Duty: Vanguard launches with a ton of classic WWII guns. But for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of attachments to choose from, and we can use ten at once. So, where do you even begin? What attachments do you need? Don't worry, we'll give you all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides. And today: the Itra Burst.
We wish the Itra Burst was better, we really do. Burst Fire weapons can be fun, but they're always going to struggle against full-auto so they usually need that little extra push to help them. In this case, the Itra has actually been held back a bit. In no single characteristic is it better than the other assault rifles, so there's really very little reason to use it.
What really hurts is that the weapon needs two bursts of four shots to kill. Needing two bursts to the center of mass is fairly standard, but if you can't get a one-burst kill from the upper chest, neck, or head then that's a real problem. Because if even skilled shooters require the precious extra milliseconds for the second burst, they'll probably have been wiped by someone with using a weapon with full-auto.
Check out our tier ranking of every weapon in Vanguard for an idea of how well the weapon places.

The Itra Burst isn't that great – especially compared to the STG44 – but it still can be fun to play. If you are looking for a challenge and are sick and tired of fully auto guns, then please try the Itra and burst yome heads... Here is a ranking of all ARs in Vanguard.
The Equipment & Perks On An Itra Burst Loadout
From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:
- Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
- Lethal: Thermite
- Tactical: Stuns
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Demolition
- Field Upgrade: Armour Plates
The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for an Itra Burst loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armour Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
