Raven confirmed rumors of a new anti-cheat system moments ago. The system has been in development for over a year and will be implemented at the time of Vanguard's launch. The community's single most requested addition to Warzone might finally be on its way.
It's a funny thing, I actually wrote an article recently on whether Warzone is dying, and one of the points I stressed most was how badly in need Call of Duty was of good optics around the cheater question. Whether this anti-cheat works or not, they needed to announce something like this. Because the public reception to Warzone, largely because of cheating, has been in a terrible place. This should also shine a more positive light on Vanguard.
The New Anti-Cheat Coming To Warzone With CoD: Vanguard
A new anti-cheat system has been in development for over a year and is due to be implemented with Call of Duty: Vanguard, the same system will be implemented in Warzone simultaneously. We heard this first from leakers, many of them shared the news, including fan-favorite Tom Henderson:
A new anti-cheat system for the next Call of Duty title has been in development for over a year. The same system will be implemented into Warzone.

And while we would normally trust Tom anyway, we can now absolutely confirm this news because the developers themselves tweeted:
Today we banned over 50,000 accounts in #Warzone.More importantly, we are listening and hard at work behind the scenes. We will have more info for you soon.

This is surely going to go down well with the fanbase, whose number one request has been an improved anti-cheat system. In fact, this might be just the feature that gets Call of Duty back into the good books before Vanguard's release. A much-needed bit of good PR in these trying times.

When Will Call of Duty: Vanguard Be Released?
We don't have an exact release date for Call of Duty: Vanguard, but we can reasonably predict that it will fall on a date between Battlefield in mid-October and Halo in mid-Novemeber. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on Thursday, November 4th. The new Warzone map will likely launch on that exact day too, so as to try and get people back on to Warzone and away from Battlefield as quickly as possible. This new anti-cheat should be just the thing to make that happen.
