With last week’s reveal of Season One: Reloaded for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, came the announcement of a new map coming to multiplayer – the iconic Express from Black Ops 2. This popular map will be hitting our screens on February 4, and we could not be keener.

With Express coming to Black Ops Cold War, we are hyped to replay the classic map. We loved it back on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and we cannot wait to play it with BOCW’s new systems and gameplay features! The 6v6 map is the latest to arrive in BOCW, and one of the best announcements from last week’s Season 1 roadmap.

February 4 seems to be shaping up well for Call of Duty players, with Zombies’ Firebase Z map also added to the game – a gift from last week’s 115 Day. Additionally, the Sanatorium map has now been added to BOCW, offering a breath-taking new map. Thus, one thing is for certain: it has never been a better time to jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

This Black Ops 2 map will add a lot of value to the experience, offering a variable and strategic map that will take great advantage of Black Ops Cold War’s movement systems and new features. It is an iconic map from the 2012 game, mainly for its excellent map design that features interesting use of verticality.

The map features a hi-tech train station, and focuses on close-quarters combat. However, with the station's glass ceiling, it also makes interesting use of scorestreaks. The trains and train tracks add some super interesting gameplay, with a combination of long-range and high-speed shootouts outside of the main station.

We’re pretty bloody excited for all this, having always loved the map back in Black Ops 2, and are insanely pumped to fight it out in the fantastic train station map. We think that with the additional features coming to Black Ops Cold War, including the new operator ‘Zeyna’, this new map will be an absolute triumph.

Right now it seems unclear what will be changed and what will stay the same in Express. What we do know, though, is that the map is dropping on February 4, and will be an excellent addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Let’s get shooting!
