If you're one of the players who utterly despise the new Warzone 2 and miss the old Warzone 1, there's hope for you to relive the past. While the iconic Verdansk map may no longer be available, the Caldera map offers a chance to experience the nostalgia once again.

How To Install & Play Warzone 1

When the sequel was launched, the Warzone 1 servers were initially taken offline temporarily. Surprisingly, this game can no longer be found in console and PC digital marketplaces. However, fear not, for it still exists.

To access Warzone Caldera, you must re-download the game and purchase an edition of Modern Warfare 2019. After installing Modern Warfare, you'll be prompted in the main menu to download Warzone Caldera Pack 1 and 2. These packs are necessary to access the game modes and your saved data.

While the file sizes of these packs are relatively small, console players must ensure they have at least 100 GB of storage space available to install the entirety of Warzone 1.

And what about the different game modes in Warzone 1? First things first: It won't be the same experience as before! Unfortunately, the available modes are limited to Battle Royale Solos and Quads, both set on the Caldera map. As a result, beloved modes such as Battle Royale Duos, Plunder, and Resurgence are no longer accessible.

For those missing the classic Warzone experience, the opportunity to embark on nostalgic battles awaits. Take a trip back in time, rediscover the thrill, and embrace the memories of Warzone Caldera.

I always loved watching Lets Plays on YouTube when I was a kid. My favorite game from back then was definitely Assassin's Creed: Black Flag… but I wasn't allowed to actually play it. SAD!
