The New Dark Aether Skin For Vanguard Has Leaked!

Call of Duty: Vanguard is coming with a Zombie's mode that continues the Treyarch Dark Aether story and the ultimate Zombie's weapon skin (basically the equivalent of getting gold in multiplayer) has been leaked. It looks dope.

The Dark Aether skin from Black Ops Cold War was incredibly popular. Naturally, therefore, they're bringing a new Dark Aether skin to the game with Vanguard. This is the skin you get for unlocking everything else on a weapon, but we don't know exactly what these challenges will be yet.

Anyway, we love the look of the new Dark Aether skin, so let's take a look!

What Does The New Dark Aether Camo Look Like?

That's why you're here after all, so without further ado:

The Dark Aether skins will always be some of the most popular; they're about as good as multiplayer's gold camo, and yet they take a fraction of the time and are far, far easier to acquire. So expect to see an awful lot of this skin in the coming game.

Last time it was purple, but also sort of molten (if that's the right way to describe the patterning?), and between the two, we do prefer this one by quite a bit.

But if, for some reason, you don't like the look of this new Dark Aether camo, then fear not:

What Zombies Maps Will We Get In Vanguard?

In a recent Call of Duty blog post, we discovered that Shi No Numa - the World at War map - was being remastered for launch, in addition to new maps coming on November 5 set in Merville and Stalingrad. Treyarch devs are continuing the Zombies story, so all of the modes they developed in BOCW (yes, even the needlessly complicated ones) will also be making a return.

We're getting a very strong "let's get back to basics" vibe from Vanguard's marketing, so you should expect a lot of Call of Duty: World at Wars maps to make a return at some point. Don't forget, that legendary game brought zombies into existence, so it's the perfect game to hark back to.
