Season 3 has been an absolute blast, with a fantastic midseason event, a healthy meta, and two great new guns introduced - the Swiss K31 and the PPSh. But as we close out the final few days of the season, and players grind to complete the Battlepass, all eyes are turning toward Season 4. At the Summer Game Fest last night Activision Blizzard revealed a trailer for Season 4 of BOCW & Warzone during their showcase. We saw loads of new details on what's in store - including these new multiplayer maps.
What New BOCW Maps Were Revealed In The Season 4 Trailer?
Three new maps were released, one in the desert called Collateral, a returning map on a yacht called Hijack, and a gunfight map called Amsterdam. These look like exciting additions to the game, especially Hijack which has always been hugely popular in the previous Call of Duty titles in which it's appeared. Here are what those maps look like:
Collateral 6v6 & 12v12
This is going to be one of the larger maps, and Call of Duty fans are known to be critical of excessively large 6v6 maps - we'll see how it plays.
Hijacked 6v6
Set on a yacht in the middle of the ocean, Hijacked has been with the franchise since Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Expect only minor changes.
Amsterdam 2v2
Gunfight has been one of the most popular recent additions to the Call of Duty franchise and their continued support of 2v2 maps can only be a good thing. Amsterdam looks a lot busier than the more minimal gunfight maps we've had in the past, but this could open up some exciting play.
