Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will replace Vanguard and Warzone this year. We have already seen a lot about Modern Warfare 2, were able to play the beta and have already completed the campaign, but there is still much less information about Warzone 2.0. You can find all known details here:

We already know that Warzone 2.0 will be released on November 16 and will launch with a brand new large BR map called Al Mazrah. But we also know that a lot of players also want a smaller map for faster, more intense close quarters action. Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep are popular for a reason. So of course the question is whether Warzone 2.0 will get a new Rebirth sized map again.

Warzone 2.0 Rebirth Map

Officially, no Rebirth sized map has been announced for Warzone 2.0 yet, but according to a well-known and reliable leaker, a rebirth map is said to be in the works. The leaker TheGhostOfHope, who has often been right with his announcements in the past, posted the following on Twitter:

Beenox & Toys for Bob to develop a Resurgence Map for Warzone 2.0 set to release in Mid 2023. Infinity Ward & Raven to help direct it with Infinity Ward leading the narrative & Raven consulting on gameplay ideas.

In the original Warzone, Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep are the so-called "Resurgence maps" and since we already know about the BR map Al Mazrah, this must refer to a smaller Rebirth sized map. The release in the middle of 2023 would also fit, since Rebirth Island was introduced to the original Warzone well after its release.

Even though there is no official announcement yet, we are 99% sure that a new, smaller map in the style of Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep will be released for Warzone 2.0. As soon as we know more details, we'll let you know of course.
