Take the battle back to the Trenches in Numa Numa, set on a gorgeous Pacific Island. Here is our map guide, including a few tips and tricks to get you started...
Numa Numa is a medium sized multiplayer map that released with Call of Duty: Vanguard's launch on November 5. It was originally designed for 6v6 matches in standard multiplayer modes, though it is also available at multiple combat pacing's. Set on the island of Bougainville in the Pacific Theatre of World War II, Numa Numa is based on the Battle of Piva Forks. It's a very standard map, with players engaging in primarily trench-style warfare.
The Battle of Piva Forks involved a "pincer attack" from Axis forces that forced the Allies to prepare for battle on a beachhead. It was a pretty brutal fight that ensued, and you are kind of simulating it in this medium-sized Multiplayer Map. Here is our Numa Numa Map Guide!
Vanguard Numa Numa Map Guide: The Map
Numa Numa is actually a surprisingly circular map, with a section on the beach, and a larger trench-warfare section. What is notable about Numa Numa, though, is the way that it actually uses the environment really cleverly. You will need to hide in shell holes and keep an eye out for snipers from a central hill. Time to kill here can be very quick, as there are so many little spots where enemies can be hiding, and more often than not, your opponent will see you first. Check out the Numa Numa Mini-map:
Vanguard Numa Numa Map Guide: Gameplay Overview & Tactics
Prepare for classic trench warfare on Call of Duty: Vanguard's Numa Numa map. There are a ton of gun placements, spend shells, huge rockets, and classic narrow passages to fight along here, but it is juxtaposed with a rather tall hill that dominates the center of the map. We're not really sure about this to be honest, as it feels a little bit over powered considering that once the opposing team has rallied around it, it is very hard to flush them out.
In addition, the interior sections especially on the east side of the map can be very difficult to take back from the opposition once it has been taken. The map looks pretty cool, but overall it is one of the weaker additions to Call of Duty: Vanguard's roster. There are a lot of choke points and strangleholds, and this is one of the key problems here. A lot of the play you will experience on Numa Numa will be teams pushed into corridors, lobbing grenades at each other and mindlessly spraying bullets. We don't know about you, but we don't really find that idea all that fun.

Speaking of mindless spraying, praying, and lobbing grenades, we have a few loadout suggestions. The first is obvious, as this will be the third time we mention it: grenades, lots of grenades. In fact, lethals in general. Molotov Cocktails can work well here, as can Thermite, but your best bet are gamma bombs due to their instant explosion. In terms of weaponry, stick to assault rifles, SMGs, and LMGs.
