Modern Warfare 3 is getting another Multiplayer Free Access event. We have all the dates and tell you how to play the MW3 multiplayer for free.
As we all know, Warzone is free-to-play, so you don't have to pay anything to be able to play the game. However, there is always a premium Call of Duty title as well, which is sold at full price. So if you don't like Battle Royale but want to play regular CoD multiplayer or the campaign, you actually have to buy the game .
To convince even more gamers to buy the current premium title, which right now is Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty has so-called Free Access periods from time to time. During a Free Access period, players can download and play the multiplayer for free and afterward decide if they want to buy the game.
Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Free Access
The next MW3 Multiplayer Free Trial runs from Thursday, April 4 at 10 am PT until Monday, April 8 at the same time. This will give players a few days to test out MWIII multiplayer with a little twist. And this time, the Free Access period includes full access to Modern Warfare Zombies.
So, even if you don't intend on buying Modern Warfare 3, you could at least use the Free Trial to quickly level up some guns for Warzone.
MW3 Free Access Content
The MW3 Multiplayer Free Access period usually includes five or six maps, and five core modes. This time around, we believe you will get access to the following modes:
- TDM
- Kill Confirmed
- Domination
- Hardpoint
- Capture the Flag
And you will be able to play those modes on the following maps:
- Emergency
- Das Haus
- Stash House
- Rust
We don't yet know what the final two maps available will be.
How To Play Modern Warfare 3 Free Access
To play the Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer for free, all you have to do is find the game in your platform's store and download it.
Here is how to do it:
- Got to your platform's store (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Battle.net)
- Search for "Modern Warfare Free Access" or the "Play Free" button on PC
- You should then be able to download a free trial version of Modern Warfare 2
