Multiple Call of Duty: Vanguard teaser trailers are being sent to content creators around the globe. Each region is being sent teasers that pay homage to an actual WWII soldier from that region. You can find all the leaked trailers below.
I love this idea, I really do. The 'remember your history' lines that hinted at BOCW were vague and boring, but this is a direct homage to actual soldiers. And it's great to see attention brought to content creators from around the globe. It's also hugely exciting as a fan, of course, to get the first hints at this game ahead of the reveal. Indeed, Call of Duty is enjoying a strange resurgence of attention right now, and we're becoming quietly more confident in Vanguard by the day.
Note: These teaser trailers are dropping all over the place right now, so we'll keep this page regularly updated. Fingers crossed for Finland's own Simo Häyhä...

The Call of Duty: Vanguard Teaser Trailers
The following trailers each confirm that a certain theater of war is going to be included in the game, and for each trailer, they were dedicated to a certain soldier and sent to the content creators of that soldier's home country.
Pacific - United States Content Creators: Vanguard Teaser Trailer
The first is the least exciting, we knew that the Pacific was in Vanguard based on a previous leak about the next Warzone map (set in the Pacific).
Here's the Vanguard Teaser trailer for Wade, who's based on the real-life Capt. Vernon L. Micheel - KNown as the hero of Midway. Capt. Micheel's bombs struck two Japanese carriers: the Akagi, which sank that day, and the Hiryu, which was heavily damaged and sank 1 day later. pic.twitter.com/iwEHnEMtns

Eastern Front - Russia Content Creators: Vanguard Teaser Trailer
Some of the best Call of Duty: World at War missions took place on the Eastern Front, so this is great to see, and a sniper too - so expect some reference to Enemy at the Gates.
Russian Content Creators have just received the Vangaurd Teaser trailer for Polina, who's based on the real-life sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko nicknamed "Lady Death", who had 309 confirmed kills during World War II. pic.twitter.com/SbikMX8FNB

North Africa - Australian & New Zealand Content Creators: Vanguard Teaser Trailer
This is a surprise, but a welcome one. WWII can often be reduced to merely the European conflicts when it's portrayed in games, but not here. Rommel and Montgomery's rival across the Sahara could be a fantastic thing to play out.
Australian and New Zealand Content Creators have just received the Vanguard Teaser trailer for Lucas, who's based on the real-life Charles Upham. Upham is described as New Zealand's greatest war hero and is the only combat soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross twice in WWII. pic.twitter.com/buNUZAXya0

Western Front - European Content Creators: Vanguard Teaser Trailer
This one, of all regions, simply had to be in the game. You don't get WWII games without the Germans and the British at some point. Still, no less exciting to see we will be playing in European environments.
Ummm... I just got sent this from @CallofDuty... "Western Front" pic.twitter.com/69eKmpMtQc

Task Force Vanguard
These trailers have revealed something away about the game's factions. They suggest that there is a multi-national task force, much like Modern Warfare's task force 141. And that, perhaps, this task force will be who the player acts as. As one Twitter user notices:
I am sure it says Task Force Vanguard 001 pic.twitter.com/wtlVMrFzdX
— Aurum Games (@HauerStudio) August 15, 2021
And then, as you go back and check each trailer frame-by-frame, you notice the same badge: Task Force Vanguard. This could simply be a neat way to promote the name of the game, but we think it will almost certainly be who you play as in the campaign.
