The Top Break revolver is of course the British Webley - a sturdy sidearm for those who want a little more punch. Here's the best attachment setup for the Top Break.
Call of Duty: Vanguardhas launched with a ton of classic WWII guns, but for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of attachments to choose from. Seriously, Vanguard offers ten attachments slots per weapon! Where do you even begin? This is madness! Don't worry, we've got all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides, And today: the Top Break.
The Top Break (inexplicably not given its actual name of the Webley revolver) is always going to have its fans. It isn't technically the best sidearm but it's satisfying and it packs a punch, so we think a lot of you will enjoy it using it in that secondary slot.
Check out our tier ranking of every weapon in Vanguard for an idea of how well the Top Break places. In the meantime, let's talk setup...
The Top Break Attachment Setup
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: Wilkie W-4 Stub
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Trigger Action: Rapid Action
- Magazine: .30 Russian Short
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Proficiency: Quickscope
- Kit: Quick
In this build, we wanted to get a revolver that could one tap finish someone, so it isn't the strongest for follow-up shots and it relies on only 6 rounds of ammunition. But, it has great initial recoil and accuracy thanks to the Quickscope proficiency, and the .30 Russian Short ammunition should guarantee you finish most enemies provided they're in a weakened state.
Looking for a good sidearm, maybe you need to check the Machine Pistol...
The Equipment & Perks On A Top Break Loadout
From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:
- Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
- Lethal: Thermite
- Tactical: Stuns
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Demolition
- Field Upgrade: Armor Plates
The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for a Top Break loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armor Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
