Only recently, a new mode was added to Warzone 2.0 called Lockdown. Here is everything you need to know about it!
To keep things fresh and exciting, Warzone has unveiled its latest time-limited game mode called Lockdown. Offering a unique twist on the traditional battle royale format, Lockdown introduces players to a captivating respawn experience that will push their skills to the limit.
Warzone 2.0: New Mode Lockdown Explained
Unlike the usual last-team-standing objective, Lockdown requires players to engage in an intense battle for multiple zones throughout the map, reminding players of the popular Hardpoint mode. With 12 teams of three players each, a total of 36 players will compete for dominance in this adrenaline-fueled showdown.
Right from the start, players have the freedom to choose their preferred loadouts, allowing them to enter the action with a strategic advantage. Lockdown takes place exclusively on the newly introduced Vondel map, providing a fresh battleground for players to explore.
To win the game, teams must focus on capturing and holding the seven lockdown zones across the map, collecting points along the way. However, being the last team standing is not the ultimate goal in Lockdown. Instead, teams must strive to get the most points before the timer runs out.
In a thrilling twist, the game enters overtime, where every zone becomes a High-Value Target, rewarding players with double points. This intense phase adds an extra layer of excitement as teams battle for supremacy in a race against time.
Lockdown is an exciting addition to Warzone, offering players a dynamic and respawn-focused gameplay experience. Don't miss your chance to dive into the thrilling action of this limited-time game mode and showcase your skills on the Vondel map.
