Call of Duty: Warzone has been granted a new system, just ahead of its transition to Caldera. Warzone Role Cards are based on your stats and performance, and they're the talk of the town...
Seeing as Caldera, Warzone's new Pacific Map, is mere weeks away at this point, it is becoming increasingly clear that Raven Software have more-or-less given up on making Verdansk '84 interesting. It's not such a shame, though, considering that Warzone's current map - introduced by that godforsaken Nuke Event earlier this year - was barely an upgrade on its previous iteration.
What's curious, though, is that Warzone's new Role Card system seems to have revitalized the drive players have for individualized stat reports. It's a curious phenomenon, especially considering that Call of Duty's target demographic are hardly statisticians. Curiosity aside, though, Warzone's Role Cards are a new way for you to find out just how well you're doing in the game, and offer a way to clean up, and bid farewell, to your career in Verdansk.
It's simple: find out how you've done in Warzone up to this point. Find out if you were a "Slayer" or a "Savior", and find out everything there is to know about, well, you. This is a collection of the most up-to-date and most comprehensive statistics that have been made available to Warzone Players so far. It's kind of fascinating, if that's your thing...
Getting Your Warzone Role Card
To find your Warzone Role Card, which will also contain all of the stats you could possibly want to know about yourself, follow these couple of steps...
Check out the Call of Duty Role Card Website

Select "Find out"
Once you have navigated your way to the website, you need to take a look around and then click on "Find Out". Pretty simple so far, isn't it?
Log Into Your CoD Account
Have your details handy, because you're going to need to log into your Call of Duty / Battle.net account. This will link your CoD account to this new Role Call website, allowing you to chill, sit back, relax, and enjoy the many pieces of information available here.

How to Find Out Your Warzone Squad Role
To find out your Warzone Squad Role, all you need to do is take a look at the Role Card that was issued when you signed up on the Role Call website. There are a number of different roles available, all of which have different characteristics, and some pretty sweet little graphics to help you visualize the kind of player you like to be.
What are the Warzone Roles?
In total there are 16 different roles, each of which are passed out for various different reasons. For example, a Savior is someone who - as the name suggests - revives/saves a lot of people. Here are the currently known roles:
- Slayer
- Sharpshooter
- Gunner
- Fighter
- Arms Dealer
- Airstriker
- High-Roller
- Eagle Eyes
- Tank
- Survivor
- Marauder
- Sidekick
- Savior
- Reviver
- Hustler
- Protector
The main purpose of the new Warzone Role Cards is to provide players with a bit of closure, seeing as Verdansk will be gone for good very soon. We might have felt frustrated these last few months about the map feeling stale and boring. We might have felt sad that the Nuke Event yielded basically nothing of interest a few months ago, and that barely anything really changed to Verdansk '84 from Season 3 on, but that doesn't mean that Caldera is a bittersweet prospect.
Now that we've had a good look at Warzone's new Caldera Pacific Map, thanks to a recent leak of the entire map, we are bloody excited for it. That doesn't mean that, despite the annoyances outlined above, we're happy to say goodbye to Verdansk. It'll be curious to see whether this now-iconic map will ever return, and it feels weird that we may never walk its footpaths again. In the meantime, these new Role Cards are a good way to say goodbye to this ol' friend.
