The DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 just got announced. The tournament will be split up in four regions with multiple teams fighting for a combined $250,000 prize pool. Astralis, Na'Vi and G2 have already been announced, among others!
This year's DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 got officially confirmed. The online tournament will be held from November 30 to December 6 and will be split up in for regions: Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania. On the European side, a total of 16 teams will compete for the first place including Astralis, Na'Vi, G2, and Complexity, who received their invites already.

Europe - $150,000 prize pool
- Group Stage: Nov 30 - Dec 3. Playoffs: Dec 4 - Dec 6.
- 2 groups of 8 teams each in Double-Elimination Bracket Bo3
- Top 4 teams of each group advance to the playoffs
- Playoffs will be held in Single-Elimination Bo3. Final in Bo5
North America - $70,000 prize pool
- Group Stage: Nov 30 - Dec 4. Playoffs: Dec 5 - Dec 6.
- 2 groups of 4 teams each in Double-Elimination Bracket Bo3
- Top 2 teams of each group advance to the playoffs
- Playoffs will be held in Single-Elimination Bo3. Final in Bo5
Asia - $15,000 prize pool
- Playoffs: Dec 1 - Dec 6.
- 1 group of 4 teams in Double-Elimination Bo3
- Bo5 finals with 1-0 advantage to the team coming from the upper bracket
Oceania - $15,000 prize pool
- Playoffs: Dec 1 - Dec 6.
- 1 group of 4 teams in Double-Elimination Bo3
- Bo5 finals with 1-0 advantage to the team coming from the upper bracket
Six teams got already announced, including Astralis, Na'Vi, G2, and Complexity on European side as well as Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid on the North American side. While eight more teams will receive direct invites, the last four will have to go through a qualifier. Further teams will be announced in the following weeks. More big names are highly expected, such as Vitality, Heroic or BIG.
