Valve released a small update for CS:GO last night. It contains some minor layout changes and some bugfixes for the maps Anubis and Mutiny.

CS:GO has received a small update overnight. Even though we got nothing too big, there were still some major changes to the Anubis and Mutiny maps. Both are not part of the current active map pool, but the changes should make the gaming experience much more pleasant. Valves' constant changes to the community maps could also be a harbinger for changes to the current map pool.

Here Are the Complete Patch Notes:

Anubis

The changes made Anubis a bit more playable. The spawn point distances have been increased to ensure better movement at the start of each round. Also, some places where objects like guns could fall through the map have been fixed.

  • Moved the spawn points slightly apart from each other for better movement
  • Fixed various bugs containing invisible prop faces, gun falling trough props, floating props, invisible brush faces, props z-fighting
  • Added grenade clips to the trims on short A for smoothing bouncing
  • Fixed some small nitpicking stuff on the radar

Mutiny

Mutiny received mainly visual updates with the new patch. Some textures were exchanged and the visibility of the models was increased significantly. Additionally, there are some bug fixes.

  • Overhauled T to A site layout.
  • Adjusted some prop fade distances for better performance
  • Replaced church brick textures
  • Improved visual fidelity of some models
  • Replaced floor textures across the map
  • Fixed numerous dark spots showing in place of foliage when using low shader settings
  • Fixed various minor bugs

That´s not the hoped-for Cobblestone remake, neither the hoped-for new engine nor a new operation. The last patches for CS:GO were rather small, but at least we got them and a major update in the course of the year is still to be expected.
