Beyond the Summit’s latest event is the BTS Pro Series Season 4. Teams in SEA are already in the heat of battle while the Americas will kick off today.

The BTS Pro Series is back for yet another season. BTS Pro Series Season 4 SEA is currently underway and today it’s time for theAmericas. The tournament will feature eight of the best teams from North and South America. In addition, it also brought Peter “PPD” Dager out of retirement with Sadboys.

The initial list of teams for the tournament included 4 Fun. However, the latter withdrew from the event and they had to be replaced with no other team than Sadboys. Back in 2014 that was the name of the team that would later get signed by Evil Geniuses. Two of the original members are now back at it with Peter “PPD” Dager and Clinton “Fear” Loomis. The full team is as follows:

  • Clinton "Fear" Loomis
  • dnm
  • David "Moo" Hull
  • Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu
  • Peter "ppd" Dager

As we’ve already mentioned above, PPD comes out of retirement for this one event. We last saw PPD play for Ninjas in Pyjamas back in April when he also announced his retirement. The same could be said about Fear who last played for business associates back in September. With the addition of Sadboys and the two teams coming from qualifiers, the full line up for the BTS Pro Series is clear:

  • 4 Zoomers
  • beastcoast
  • Thunder Predator
  • Sadboys
  • Team Brasil
  • Arkosh Gaming
  • 5ManMidas
  • Jaguares Esports

You can catch the official live stream on the BTS Twitch channel. The first series for today will kick off at 22:00 CET with Sadboys vs. Team Brasil.

The event offers $40,000 in prize money and will kick off with a round-robin, Bo2 group stage. The top four teams will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs while the bottom four will drop to the lower one. With Quincy Crew and EG missing from the picture, Sadboys might just have a chance to take the title here if they find the proper synergy.
