Eighteen of the best teams from around the world will be fighting it out in the Singapore Major – the first Valve tournament in what seems like an eternity. The league stage of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 is finally behind us. China was the last remaining region, and we saw some intense high-level Dota 2 over the weekend.

Who Will Participate in the Singapore Major?

The long-awaited major tournament is coming in late March or about two weeks from today. There will be a couple of stages in the event and each will start on a different day. Before that let's take a look at all the teams that made it:

Major Playoffs Invites

  • Team Secret
  • Fnatic
  • Virtus.pro
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Invictus Gaming
  • beastcoast

Major Group Stage Invites

  • Alliance
  • Team Aster
  • Neon Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • Quincy Crew
  • Thunder Predator

Wildcard Stage Invites

The Wildcard stage will mark the start of the event on March 27. By the end of it on, March 28, only the top two teams will move forward to the groups. The latter will also last two days, March 29-30. Once that's done, the two teams at the bottom will also be eliminated. This will bring the total number of teams for the playoffs to 12 and that's where the real fun begins.

Starting March 31 up until April 4, the playoffs will be the main focus of the Singapore Major. The event will offer $500 000 in prize money, but, more importantly, 2700 DPC points. If any of the teams that are already in the playoffs takes first place (and there's a high chance of that happening) their invitation for The International 2021 will be guaranteed.

It's the first international tournament for quite some time, and we couldn't be more excited! Are you all hyped up for the first major of 2021? Tell us on Facebook or Twitter!
