China finally caught up to the rest of the regions in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021. The final series was played over the weekend and we now know who's going to the Singapore Major.
At last, the league stage of the DPC 2021 is over. China was lagging behind due to the two-week celebration of the Lunar New Year and took a bit longer to wrap things up. A lot of the teams were very close when it came to the standings but some of the tiebreakers were avoided.
China Week 6 Results
The week kicked off on Thursday with a series between EHOME and LBZS. Unsurprisingly EHOME took it 2:0 and deleted any chance for LBZS to remain in the Upper Division. On the next day, we saw Vici Gaming fall to PSG.LGD after a very contested series. March 13 was the final day of regular league play: Elephant bested MagMa and Team Aster broke Invictus Gaming's perfect score.
Since Elephant and PSG.LGD both won their respective series, the two teams were still tied. This led to the first tiebreaker and PSG.LGD dominated the Chinese superstar team. LGD secured a spot at the Singapore Major, while Elephant get to stay in the Upper Division. The second tiebreaker was between Aster and IG and this time the latter showed no mercy, making up for their poor performance on the previous day. Invictus Gaming remained at the top and this gave us the final score.

Who made it to the Singapore Major?
China is one of the major regions in the Dota Pro Circuit, and it gets the whopping 4 slots! This means that the top four teams from the list above all earn a spot in the different stages of the upcoming Singapore Major:
- Invictus Gaming - Playoffs Invite
- Team Aster - Group Stage invite
- Vici Gaming - Wildcard invite
- PSG.LGD - Wildcard invite
Invictus Gaming was really a surprise in China as they had a really mediocre performance in the past year. They earned their spot in the league through qualifiers and hardly anyone suspected we'd see them on the top of the food chain.
