The first season of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 is nearly over now. All the regular matches have been played out (except in China) and we're only looking forward to the tiebreakers. Here's which teams secured a spot in the Singapore Major!
It's almost time to say goodbye to the daily Dota 2 action as Season 1 of the DPC 2021 is nearing its end. Team Secret was the first team to secure a spot in the first major for 2021 but they're no longer alone. Let's take a look at the teams that made it and those who didn't.
Europe
As we've already mentioned Secret made it directly to the Singapore Major playoffs.

The Swedish Alliance earned a spot into the group stage of the Major after beating Team Liquid on Tuesday. On the same day, Nigma defeated HCE and secured a spot in the Wildcard stage. This leaves one more slot for one of the trio - OG, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports. All three teams are currently at 3-4 and the tiebreakers on February 28 will decide who makes it. The two losers will remain in the Upper Division Season 2 but won't get to play in the major.

Vikin.gg and HCE drop to the Lower Division and their places will be taken by the top two teams from the Lower Division which are also to be decided by tiebreakers in the next few days.
SEA
Team Secret is no longer the only team that earned a spot directly into the Singapore Major playoffs. Fnatic did the same after wrapping up their final series against TNC Predator. The orange team got a final score of 6-1 and secured a spot. T1 and Neon Esports are currently tied for 2nd-3rd place and will play it out in tiebreakers tomorrow.

The winners will take a slot in the group stage while the losers will end up in the Wildcard stage of the major. 496 Gaming and Vice Esports drop to the Lower Division and everyone else below the top three remains in the current one.
CIS
The CIS is quite intense and it's still unclear which team will make it to the major! Virtus.pro haven't lost a series so far but their real challenge is coming later today against Natus Vincere. The Ukrainian powerhouse is currently in second place but a victory against the bears will put them in a tie for first place (leading to even more tiebreakers).
Team Spirit is currently in third place but the winners of AS Monaco Gambit - EXTREMUM will also tie with Spirit. In the best-case scenario, we'll see two tiebreakers and at most - three. Why? Team Unique or Team Empire will be going to the Lower Division. So far the only squad heading there is NoTechies.

China
Due to the Lunar New Year celebrations, China skipped two weeks and instead of wrapping things up for the season the region is currently in its fourth week. There's a whole lot that can still happen in here so stay tuned for updates!

North America
If you thought CIS had a lot of potential tiebreakers you haven't seen North America! It's tiebreaker city in here as basically everything will be decided on February 28. The only certainty is that 4Zoomers will remain in the Upper Division and 5ManMidas will be going to the Lower one.

The tiebreaker between the top three will decide who goes to which part of the upcoming major. At the bottom, one more team will start season 2 in the Lower Division. Will TI-winner Peter "PPD" Dager and his S A D B O Y S be dropping down?
South America
Last but not least it's South America. The hype around beastcoast was real as the team had no losses up until recently. Their final series is coming later today against SG e-sports and a loss will lead to tiebreakers in the top three. On the plus side, everything else is clear and no other tiebreakers are planned.
