With DOTA Summit 13 already behind us, the next event in line is Epic League. The qualifiers came to an end yesterday and the Just Error stack earned a spot.
The Dota 2 Epic League is about to start in just a few hours. The latest tournament offers a total of $550,000 in prize money split into two divisions. Division one will get a bigger share of $500,000 and we can find some of the best teams there. Here’s the full list of the 10 participants:
- Team Secret
- Alliance
- Virtus.pro
- Team Nigma
- Natus Vincere
- OG
- Team Liquid
- Vikin.gg
- mudgolems
- Just Error
We’ve got 9 very recognizable teams and Just Error.
Who Are Just Error?
The newly-formed stack consists of some famous players:
- Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev
- Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan
- Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko
- Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov
- Alexey "Solo" Berezin
No[o]ne, Zayac, and Solo were recently officially released by Virtus.pro after getting benched previously.

Virtus.pro CEO Sergey Glamazda commented:
We know that the players want to participate in tournaments right now, so we came to a mutual agreement and yesterday was their last day in Virtus.pro. The guys have been bringing us unforgettable emotions and sense of pride for CIS Dota scene for several years. They went down in esports history for sure. We are thankful to the players for their enormous contribution to Virtus.pro and wish them to reach the desired goal at The International.
Ramzes went inactive in Evil Geniuses and SumaiL has been a free agent for some time after an unsuccessful attempt in OG. We’ve heard rumors that the five players will be forming a new team for some time and now it’s finally come to life. Just Error entered the Epic League qualifiers directly into the playoffs and that caused some controversy within the community. A newly formed team getting a direct invitation? We’re sure the organizers did it to boost viewership as all of the players are quite famous.

Just Error justified the invitation by defeating Yellow Submarine in the qualifiers and earning a spot in the main event.

Team Secret may have been the favorites up until recently but after they lost to both mudgolems and Team Liquid we’re not so sure anymore. VP’s main lineup now consists of their former Prodigy squad. Will they perform on par with some of the best in the region? We shall see. Who do you think will take the champion’s title? Share your opinion on our Facebook page!
