The OGA Dota PIT is making a return with its fourth season for the Europe/CIS and China regions. Check out which teams received a direct invitation!
Initially, we thought that the global pandemic will totally kill the number of tournaments in Dota 2, the exact opposite happened. There’s a new event every month and teams are on the verge of burnout. Next in line is the fourth edition of OGA Dota PIT.

OGA Dota PIT Season 4 Europe & CIS
Season 4 of OGA Dota PIT will be making its return on December 15. That’s right, the middle of December, exactly when Valve said we should be expecting a new patch and a new hero. Perhaps we’ll see the patch drop right before the event and not in the middle of it. Both options will be intriguing.
The OGA Dota PIT event will kick off on December 15 and last up until December 18. The total prize pool for the tournament stands at $150,000. The full list of eight teams for the latest tournament was already revealed yesterday. All of them are direct invitations and the lack of qualifiers is a bit disappointing.
- Just Error
- Natus Vincere
- Virtus.pro
- Alliance
- Mudgolems
- OG
- Team Nigma
- Vikin.gg

What’s really interesting here is that Team Secret and Team Liquid are missing. The two organizations were basically in every other event that took place in Europe over the last year. They have more than earned a break.
There’ll be no group stage as the eight teams will be going directly into the playoffs. A double-elimination bracket with Bo3 series awaits them.
OGA Dota PIT Season 4 China
If you thought EU and CIS are the only regions for Season 4 think again. OGA Dota PIT will also put the eight best teams in China in the pit. The prize pool here is also the same as in EU & CIS - $150,000.
Here are also the eight teams set to take part in the event:
Elephant recently won the China Pro Cup Season 2. Will they be able to take another title here? The tournament in China will start this Thursday, December 3, and come to an end on December 12. Unlike in Europe, there will be a group stage here and the bottom team from each group will be eliminated. Then the remaining six teams will enter double elimination playoffs to determine the winner.
