Since the Mistwoods Update in late December 2020 a few months have passed. Since the meta is mostly clear and we have the top five most successful Dota 2 carry heroes of patch 7.28 right here!

Dota 2's patch7.28 already received a couple of minor updates over several months and it's currently in its "c" version. With the Singapore Major starting in less than 10 days Valve probably won't release any changes before it's over. Without further ado let's take a look at the Dota 2 carry heroes with the highest win rates in 7.28!

5. Spectre - 51.25%

Spectre is usually the go-to carry hero when you're out of options. Over the last few patches, her win rate went either too high or way lower than expected. In general, she's hard to hunt down due to Spectral Dagger and can almost always juke you out. Her laning isn't great and she might have a rough time early on, but if you let her farm your chance of winning will be drastically lowered.

4. Troll Warlord - 52.45%

Ever since status resistance was removed from Satanic, Troll just isn't as good as before. Despite that, he's still one of the better choices when it comes to the carry role.

Laning usually goes well, since he can switch between melee and ranged to adapt and his spells are dirt cheap. His ultimate is basically a second life and the only way to counter it is with some solid crowd control or Axe's Culling Blade. Crowd control isn't reliable when he gets a BKB and Culling Blade is hard to land due to the lifesteal.

So you like making money eh? (Credit: Valve Corporation)

3. Alchemist - 52.55%

Alchemist is the polar opposite of Spectre. He farms really fast and can get out of control early on. His late game isn't that great but you can definitely compete against certain lineups. So what makes him good in the first place?

With patch 7.28 he got simultaneously nerfed and buffed. His Aghanim's Shard is pretty decent and giving an Aghs upgrade to an ally who already has it will provide them with the gold instead. Now, that's outright broken and while you won't usually do it as a carry it's an option.

Juggernaut dota 2
Oh it's the Juggernaut. (Credit: Valve Corporation)

2. Juggernaut - 53.63%

Juggernaut is perhaps the most well-rounded carry hero out there. He can survive almost any lane, has built-in magic immunity with Bladefury and can sustain the team with Healing Ward. Jugger can take early fights but can also farm to become a late game monster. He's tanky, he deals lots of damage and can easily initiate with Swiftslash then follow with Omnislash. A jack of all trades.

What makes WK the top pick? (Credit: Valve Corporation)

1. Wraith King - 53.86%

There we have it, the Wraith King taking his rightful place as the carry hero with the highest win rate on our list. He got nerfed over and over in the last few updates but nothing can keep him down. He's got a guaranteed crit as well as skeletons to farm push with and lifesteal that provides sustain. Then you have his ultimate.

It's the best part about playing wk from DotA2

Wraith King is solid and picking him is a no-brainer so just go for it when you can. Is your favorite carry hero on the list? If not, tell us on Facebook!
