The playoffs of DreamLeague Season 13 continue into Day 2, as two more teams get eliminated from the event, and we see some surprises in the lower bracket.
The DreamLeague Season 13 upper bracket
The opening games for the day were between Team Secret and Fnatic. While all of the matches were unusually long for the event, the first two went for slightly over the one hour mark. Fnatic snatched game one thanks to a classic Io and Gyrocopter combo, only to lose the following two. Secretadvanced to the next round of the upper bracket while Fnatic got knocked down to the lower where they'll meet TNC Predator.
The El Clasico ended up in favor of Alliance this time, as Natus Vincere simply didn't have an answer for the enemy Lifestealer in game 3.

Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov's performance as Slark and Lifestealer was something to behold in these games and we can only wait and see what Alliancehave prepared for Team Secret tomorrow.
The DreamLeague Season 13 lower bracket
The first series in the lower bracket was indeed a surprise as Nigma went against beastcoast. The South American team showed no mercy as they cheesed their way through the first match with a Broodmother on the mid lane for which Nigma had no answer. The champions of the Bukovel Minor made an expected comeback in game two thanks to the perfect performance by Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi on the Phantom Lancer and Aliwi "w33" Omar's Lina. The third match proved that beastcoast weren't completely out of tricks as they pulled another wildcard on the mid lane – Disruptor.
OMFG IT HAPPENED. @beastcoast eliminated @teamnigma! What a performance, GG! #DHDL13 pic.twitter.com/VQ6nw3MZFe

While Miracle- and w33 both still performed rather well, it simply wasn't enough this time. Nigma might be eliminated from the event but they showed they still have what it takes, and let's not forget this was their first tournament under the new org. Meanwhile, beastcoast move onward to their Chinese opponents.
The China-on-China action finally ended as round two of the lower bracket was resolved. Invictus Gaming scored a victory in the first game with a solid performance by Zhou "Emo" Yi on the Arc Warden. IGalso had better potential in teamfights and as soon as they started moving together the enemy Legion Commander and Skywrath Mage had little to no chance of catching someone alone. Game 2 was the longest for the day as it lasted 65 minutes and ended up in favor of Team Aster. While IGhad answers like Ember, Axe and Drow for the illusions of Phantom Lancer, Song "Sccc" Chun's gold advantage proved to be too much. Despite picking a Naga Siren in the third game, IGdidn't waste any time as they dominated each lane and wrapped up the series in 27 minutes. Similar to Nigma, Team Aster leave the event, while IGwill face off beastcoast tomorrow.
The number of teams remaining in Leipzig lowers by the day and it's now down to 10. Tomorrow we'll lose two more as the remaining two series of the lower bracket will play out. Fnatic go against TNC Predator and Team Liquid challenge Natus Vincere, but who will make it to the top in DreamLeague Season 13?
