Superhero movies are everywhere. You just can't escape the hype that the last decade has built up for these things. Surprise, surprise, not everyone is a fan. To Blade actor Stephen Dorff, the MCU is an "embarrassment".
Percentage-wise, if you are a 2020s filmgoer, you've probably watched at least one superhero movie. Not hard to deduce this as the MCU and DCEU have overwhelmed theaters all over the world. Not anyone that sees a superhero movie instantly becomes a fan, though. Stephen Dorff definitely did not become a fan of Black Widow upon viewing.
Stephen Dorff Is Embarrassed of Black Widow
Before you start trying to figure out which role Stephen Dorff plays in Black Widow, we'll save you some time. He isn't in the movie. That's the entire basis for his recent rant. Not because he wants to be in Black Widow, but because he doesn't want to be in it. Dorff is mad at a movie that he didn't want to be cast in and that didn't cast him.

We promise it makes more sense once you read his quote from an interview he did for Independent.
I still hunt out the good s**t because I don’t want to be in Black Widow. It looks like garbage to me. It looks like a bad video game. I’m embarrassed for those people. I’m embarrassed for Scarlett. I’m sure she got paid five, seven million bucks, but I’m embarrassed for her. I don’t want to be in those movies. I really don’t. I’ll find that kid director that’s gonna be the next Kubrick and I’ll act for him instead.
We'll stop acting dumb for the sake of comedy now. Dorff is obviously just frustrated at the superhero genre that has pretty much flushed out any other type of movie that's not a remake or a reboot of some classic right out of the box office. That's a fair point that we're sure every cinema lover that isn't into the superhero shtick would gladly agree with.
However, we can't skip over the fact this quote is coming from someone whose biggest role was a villain in a superhero movie. Alright, Blade isn't exactly the Captain America type of hero, but the premise is similar enough to make the MCU and DCEU crowd reply with "you're just saying that because you're not in it". Sorry to say, Stephen, it would seem they'd be right.
