Rumor has it that Daniel Radcliffe might be the next Wolverine. Now the actor has made a statement on these rumors... here's what he said.
The huge jacked man known as Hugh Jackman will no longer play Wolverine. Sad. Now, the hunt for a new Wolvie has been on for a while, and recent rumors had Scott Eastwood as the prime candidate to play Wolverine. While I support the choice of Scott Eastwood, some seem to prefer a different candidate...
Will Daniel Radcliffe Be The Next Wolverine?
Look anywhere on the web, and next to names like Tom Hardy, Taron Egerton and the aforementioned Scott Eastwood, there is another short man whose name comes up time and time again: Daniel Radcliffe. While Radcliffe has the height and the hair color down, I'm not sure about the beard or the physique, but that's nothing a little Hollywood magic can't fix.
When asked about the rumors by ComicBook.com, Radcliffe played it cool, simply stating that he knows nothing about nothing:

I appreciate that somebody is clearly going like ‘Wolverine’s actually short in the comic books, you should get like a short guy to do it!’ I don’t see them going from Hugh Jackman to me. But who knows? Prove me wrong, Marvel.
A clear no, or just another actor trying to throw us off course? We don't know, but what we do know is that the MCU is getting ready to merge all its franchises, with the r-rated Deadpool set to make an appearance in Marvel's Cinematic Universe soon. So... if he can make it, there is no reason Logan shouldn't be in there.
