EarlyGame's Artist of the Day is ARXIVN.
ARXIVN, born in Albania, came to London circa 1999 at a young age as a refugee from the Kosovo war. Inspired by Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae; his influences have allowed for a formula to be created which blends itself into a felicitous, dark, abstract and constantly evolving sound. ARXIVN’s music taps into a metaphorical lyricism which gives life to ideas and perspectives that communicate deeper meanings. His latest EP ‘Pleroma’ consisting of 2 songs titled ‘Visions’ and the next upcoming single to complete the EP ‘86’ explores the nature of a boundless love through patience, truth, trust and commitment.

Would you ever like to write music for video games? What would it be like?
I would love to write music for cinematic cut scenes or generally in-game music. Gaming has been such an integral part of my life and has served as a simulation of real life. Where I was more of a hermit in the real world, the Mmorpg’s and first-person shooters allowed me to expand my world and explore beyond the horizons of my teenage hysteria.
How important is music for video games / video games for music?
Video game music has been winning awards for decades and scores are made into albums and collectibles for a reason. They are such key components to any game, big or small! Without music, good foley effects, brilliant voice casting! The sonic experience is what brings the game to life!
