This is our Artist of the Day!
FHUR is a dark pop act based in London. Melancholic, longing atmospheres resound in her music, creating scenarios where a blur between what is real and what is not is always present. Dark synths, sultry vocals, haunting beats take you through these rooms, of life, of the mind. She played various venues in London including Mercato Metropolitano, Amersham Arms and Hoxton Underbelly. During these months she's been working on her first EP due in early 2022.
"We Just Wanna Have Fun" is FHUR's debut release. It's a moody club track, dance-y but introspective, for all those who sometimes party in their minds, lingering in their imagination, safe from the outside world. It was featured on international blogs like Iggy Mag, Right Chord Music Blog, A&R Factory, as well as radio shows including SUBMISSIONS on Islington Radio, Formula Indie on EIMC and UK Independent Radio. What is your favourite video game soundtrack?

Who's your favourite video game music composer?
Jesper Kyd
What’s your favourite video game?
Tomb Raider Series
What game inspired you to do music?
I wouldn't say video games are what directly inspired me to make music, but certainly video games soundtracks are a great source of inspiration.
What video game are you currently playing?
The Messenger
Would you ever like to write music for video games? What would it be like?
It would be a combination of dark drones and beats with a more sultry, upbeat pop approach. I'd like to write music for an adventure game based in a city setting, kinda like CyberPunk.
How important is music for video games / video games for music?
Music is a fundamental part of video games (and visual arts in my opinion). What we hear while we're playing directly influences how we feel, enhancing the identification with the character and the whole experience. A game without music is just not playable.
