Well, none other than Vin Diesel himself has now said something about the end of the film series. The franchise director said something about bringing Paul Walker back. Let's get to it.
F9 once again won the hearts of millions of fans around the globe. After so many years of this epic ride, it may come down to an end. Justin Lin, the director of the franchise, said that he can imagine even bringing back Paul Walker.
In case you lived under a rock, or don't know anything about F&F, Paul Walker died in 2013. In the movies he appeared as Brian O'Conner. With the help of CGI, he could come back for Fast & Furious 10 and 11.
Paul Walker Back In Fast & Furious 10 And 11?
"Obviously, Paul and his character Brian are the soul and heart of how we've moved forward. Bringing him back is something I think about every day. As we near the end of the franchise, it's a conversation I'm having. I think about this possibility every day," Justin Lin said to an interview with CinePOP.
We hope that the series won't end without him. That would just feel wrong. He deserves to be in the finale of this epic series. But why am I talking about a finale, an ending, a farewell from Fast & Furious? Well, Vinnie himself is to blame for this.
Vin Diesel Says Fast & Furious 10 And 11 Will Be The "Finale"
"I'm doing Fast 10 Part 1 and Part 2, the finale of the saga, in January. Every story deserves its own ending. I know people are going to feel like it doesn't have to end, but I think all good things should. There are reasons for a finale. I think this franchise has deserved it," Vin Diesel said in a recent interview.
"This franchise was born from the pavement, from the concrete. The world just championed this underdog to a place where it has already surpassed all of these other franchises. But the franchise has a soul, and that soul has to rest."
Wow, it looks like they're not gonna stop milking the cash cow until she's dead. We are expecting them to do some spin-offs. It's inconceivable that Fast & Furious will really come to an end.
