The Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul rules were revealed publicly and people are freaking livid. Turns out, the only way a winner can be declared is if there is a knockout.
We are almost there. The Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul fight is in three days, but it's just now that the rules to it were made public. That wouldn't have mattered much if it wasn't for one major point: how the winner of the fight would be determined.
What Are the Mayweather vs. Paul Rules?
Most of all, the rules state that there won't be a winner. Techically. They're a bit weird, these rules. But here, see them first before we can explain.
Mayweather vs. Paul rules, per Florida commission:- No judges- No official winner read- Knockouts legal- KO up to ref discretion- No headgear - 12 oz. gloves- Eight 3-minute rounds

So on one hand, we don't have judges and we won't have a winner declared. On the other, knockouts are legal? So if Floyd knocks Logan out, he's going to be not-the-winner while his opponent is laying unconscious on the ring? That doesn't make much sense.

Neither does paying for this joke of a match. We can't force ourselves into calling it a boxing match, because even the bloody rules aren't those of boxing.
