The 50-0 record of Mayweather was not under threat and that was obvious during the fight. As the former professional boxer said himself after the fight: he had fun. He most definitely did, landing 40% of his total punches to Logan's 13%. Amazingly, in total Mayweather outhit his opponent 43-28 despite attempting almost half the punches.
So yeah, if there was a winner in this match, it would have definitely been Floyd Mayweather.
Was Mayweather vs. Logan Paul Worth It?
For them, sure. We already know Floyd is earning +$30 million from the event. Logan definitely pulled in a few milli as well. They're happy about it. As for the fans, errr - a hard no. We all knew this isn't going to be a quality boxing match though. If you bought the pay per view expecting one, then that's entirely on you.
Will There Be a Floyd - Logan Paul Rematch?
It's definitely possible. In the post-game interview, Logan Paul was asked about it, to which he replied:
I don't know. Let me get a little better.
Floyd is also open to more engagements with the Paul family. Prior to last night's fight, he revealed that he's very much open to trying Jake Paul on if the younger brother is up for it.
It certainly looks like we haven't seen the last of Mayweather vs. Paul, whatever the variation may be.
