Influencer Jake Paul has signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime Sport, who will act as his boxing promoters going forward instead of Triller Fight Club. The full details of the deal, including when the next fight will take place and with whom, are unknown, but it's Jake Paul - as soon as those details are announced we'll all know.
When KSI and his brother agreed to step into the ring with Jake and Logan Paul in 2018 I think we all imagined it was a one-off stunt, but no. Jake went on to have three professional fights, and to be fair to him: He was pretty impressive in the ring.
He beat AnEsonGib, a fellow YouTuber in the first round. Then he took on professional basketball player Nate Robinson and won with a KO in the second round. And his third fight against Ben Askren? Well, he reportedly placed a 2 million dollar bet in his own favor before beating the MMA Champion in the first round with a TKO. Needless to say, Jake Paul has been earning the respect of the boxing world with this fight record (editor: while the other half of the boxing world hates his guts).
It should come as no surprise that Showtime Sport wanted to make a multi-fight deal. The money that Jake Paul's boxing events pull in is insane; Triller reported 1.4 million pay-per-view purchases for his last fight, which would equate to over 70 million dollars in sales. As he says himself, he's being paid like a king:
in the media business they say content is king... and in the fight business, fighters are the content...so WE are the kingsmake sure you are getting paid like a king! new fight announcement coming soon...

Jake's brother Logan is experiencing similar success himself, and his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather looks set to pull in huge numbers. Jake already contributed to the publicity of that event by stealing Mayweather's hat at the weigh-in and causing a brawl between both teams. He was subsequently banned and then later unbanned from attendance.
Whatever you think of these antics,Jake Paul's multi-fight deal should come as no surprise - he's gone from influencer to boxer with huge success.
