The Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley boxing match is still a while away. The promotion for the fight is in full swing though. In the latest live promo event, the two fighters made a very curious tattoo bet that will have lasting effects.
Everyone should know by now that these "YouTuber vs." fights are as much entertainment as they are actual boxing. The Paul brothers know all too well about entertainment, and that was displayed perfectly by Jake during a promotional press conference for his scuffle with Tyron Woodley on August 28.
What Is the Bet Between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley?
Jake Paul wanted to tie Tyron Woodley to some sort of bet since the very beginning. At first, it was a suggestion with high stakes, but with a positive connotation: if Woodley lost, he would have to donate his purse from the match to a charity of Paul's choice. In case of a Tyron victory, Jake would double his purse.
The MMA legend was not very willing to potentially part with a decent chunk of money. When Jake went for a more personal bet, however, the fish took the bait.
During a promotional press conference, amid all the random insults and comments made by the pair, Paul thought he'd shoot his shot again. The "Disney kid" proposed a new bet: whoever loses gets a tattoo. Not just any tattoo of course:
If Jake wins, Tyron would have to tattoo "I love Jake Paul" on his body. If Woodley is the one standing, Paul would have to tattoo "I love Tyron Woodley" on his body. To make it fair game, proof of the tat must then be posted on Instagram for all to see.
Woodley looked visibly confused by this wild proposition and tried to sneak out of it by using the crowd. Jake pulled off the old "he's a chicken" trick on the veteran fighter, who instantly took the bait and accepted the bet. The ring enemies even shook hands on it. Don't think Jake expected for it all to be so easy.

So now the stakes are higher on August 28. If Tyron Woodley was going to fight for his and friend Ben Askren's dignity at first, now he has to protect his body in the ring to save it from consequences outside of it too.
