A new Netflix film featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot is coming soon - Red Notice. As you might have guessed from the above, it's a sexy spy flick that takes us around the globe. Here's the trailer, release date, and story details for Red Notice.
Okay, first things first, here's the trailer if you haven't caught it yet:
As you can see from that it's more shooty shooty than talky talky, but then it's starring the Rock - I think everyone knows what kind of film this is going in. But that's by no means to suggest it won't be great fun with some popcorn. Just don't expect anything more than the usual tropes well executed.
What Is Red Notice About?
Interpol issues a Red Notice on two criminal masterminds, hence the name of the film, and the Rock - an FBI profiler - has to hunt them down. But these two rival criminals, played by Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, won't make it easy for the Rock. So we'll basically be getting a film about three people equally skilled at spy work and espionage competing with each other. You can expect some good action sequences and presumably a lot of sexual tension.
This film isn't trying to reinvent the wheel. And that's okay. Here's how one YouTube commentator summed it up:
So basically, Black Adam and Deadpool go on a mission to capture Wonder Woman. Sounds cool.
And we think that this is about right. Worth a watch, but know what you're getting in for.

When Is Red Notice Released?
Red Notice is releasing on November 12 internationally on Netflix. Despite having a budget of over $200 million Red Notice will not have a theatrical release and will instead be exclusively streamed. Though with an all-star cast like this we can probably expect the investment to have been well worth it for Netflix.
