It’s been more than two years since Stranger Things Season 3 released on Netflix. With the first teasers already having been published, we make a prediction on when we can finally watch Stranger Things Season 4.
I actually can’t believe that it’s been more than two years since the release of Stranger Things Season 3. Since sobbing... actually you know what:

There you go. So, moving...: Since sobbing my eyes out when Eleven moved away with the Byers family after Hopper died… or didn’t. Everyone knew that already, but with the first Stranger Things Season 4 teaser that dropped a year ago already, it was more than confirmed that Hopper was alive and kicking. Just to refresh your memory, this was the teaser:
Given the fact that this teaser was released over a year ago already, we wonder: when will Stranger Things Season 4 release? That trailer made it seem like they were already in post-production, but actors like David Harbour confirmed that filming will only wrap up in August 2021. Therefor, we’ll make a prediction on the Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date.

When Is The Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date?
Remember how Stranger Things likes to release in accordance with what’s going on in that Season. Season 2 of Stranger Things was Halloween themed, so Season 2 came out in October. Season 3 was centered around the 4th of July weekend, so it was released in July. Now, if you check the descriptions for the Stranger Things Season 4 teasers, you will notice that the number 4 pops up a lot of the time. Sure, this could simply be the Season, but rumor has it that Stranger Things Season 4 will be set in April 1986. If that’s the case, then it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to expect Stranger Things Season 4 to release in April 2022, as that would give post-production enough time.
Keep in mind that CGI for Stranger Things takes forever, though, so this might be late April, maybe even early May 2022.

Again, this is merely a prediction, though we wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be true. Netflix likes to release its biggest shows after the holiday season, and we don’t think that it will take more than 10/11 months to finish up the post-production, no matter how much CGI they want to put into Stranger Things Season 4. After all, we don't expect Stranger Things Season 4 to have more than 9/10 episodes (8 is the average for all seasons).
